It’s Day 3 of the Booming Business of Blogging Experiment and it finally feels like I’m getting somewhere now. After deciding on what my blog will be about, where it will be hosted and what it will be called, it’s now time for action. But, what software will I use? The main blogging software packages include:
After looking around I’ve decided to go with WordPress. It seems to have a very friendly admin interface, great features and a really strong community of users that are continually improving the WordPress platform with plugins and themes, for example.
Another plus for WordPress is that my hosting company provide one-click installation of WordPress through the Fantastico Deluxe tool. That’s a big bonus for beginner bloggers.
Now, it’s on to select a theme from the hundreds and hundreds available.
