		<description>The easiest way to explain this is to imagine your blood pumping as pouring liquid into a funnel.

When you are working aerobically, the liquid will sort of gurgle around the top but drop down the spout below.

When you pour more liquid in (run faster) there will come a point where the funnel part can hold more liquid and you will have to slow down.

What anaerobic training does is gives you a bigger funnel so you can pour more water down (or run faster) without slowing down.
