@Blaine: I've finally posted a link to the Suzy Hamilton Nike ad. It is definitely a powerfully shot ad and it's in my top running ads now too! I can see why there was an uproar - although more from just the 'scariness' angle though.

I used to have the one with the nipple bandaids handing on my door in college. Definitely got some weird looks and lots of questions. I hadn't seen some of these either, they are great!!

Far and away my favorite ad campaign. We used to put the ads up on the wall in our locker room. My buddy's parents put the one of the girl squatting in the woods on their refrigerator - I think it reminded them of their daughter.

My favorite individual ad though has to be the Suzy Hamilton Nike ad where she's in a shack in the woods, she closes her bathroom cabinet and there is a guy in a hockey mask and a chainsaw standing behind her who then chases her through the woods. Eventually he gets tired and stops and she just keeps jogging away. Damn feminists raised such an uproar about the woman getting away that they pulled the commercial after airing it the first time.

The Adidas, "Runners, Yeah, we're different." campaign was a classic. Some of the ads really didn't show too much product but it portrayed Adidas in a very positive light - sort of like a club for "real runners".

Never saw the Adidas print campaign in 1999, but thanks for the link. Those are absolutely brilliant. I think my fave would be the look on the ladies face in the nipple bandaids one! :)
