I have to say, I just love this photo. This great sculpture “The Joy of Running Together” is by artist David Govedare of runners participating in the annual Bloomsday Race and is located in the Riverfront Park in Spokane, Washington, US.

This week I have been thinking, as the mornings are now getting much cooler and crisper in Australia, about our motivation to keep running. What makes us leave a warm and oh-so-comfortable bed to hit the pavement or trail? So, along those lines, this week’s Running Blog Carnival focuses on motivation.
